Privacy on this website

The website

This website uses no cookies, analytics tools or tracking technology. I do not know who you are, where you came from or what you clicked. That is why there is no consent banner to dismiss.

All content is loaded from my own server. I do not load fonts, scripts or images from third parties, so your browser does not contact other companies when you visit the site.

Your light or dark theme choice is stored locally in your browser and is not sent to me. The page address determines the language. The website no longer stores a separate language preference; an old preference from previous visits is not used.

Server logs

The web server keeps standard technical logs to detect errors and abuse. They contain the IP address, time and page requested. The logs are not used to build profiles, are not shared and are deleted on an ongoing basis.

Email

Feature suggestions are composed locally in your browser. The website does not send or save the text. If you send the email from your email app, I receive your suggestion by email.

If you email me, I process its contents in order to reply. Your address is not used for anything else, added to any list or sold. Email is answered from malm.dev@pm.me, which is operated by Proton AG in Switzerland.

I delete correspondence I no longer need. If you want your emails deleted immediately, simply let me know.

When you request test access, I use the Google Play email address you provide to invite you to the app testing programme.

My apps

This statement covers the website and email contact. Data use differs between apps: Fitness and Notes store content locally and offer optional backups to your own Google Drive. Orbit uses calls, contacts and SMS/MMS and also offers optional Drive backups. Play connects to the media services you choose.

Your rights

Under data protection law, you have the right to access, correct and delete personal data processed about you. In practice, this only applies to email you have sent me, as nothing else is stored. Contact me at malm.dev@pm.me, and I will take care of it.

If you believe your data is being handled incorrectly, you may file a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.
